Pallith Backstory (Two Worlds campaign)

Pallith, born of the noble Veldalkin family in the city of Freeport.  She was born into her family as a middle child, with an older brother, Moyl, and older sister, Akorlin, and another brother, Welvdor, arriving after her birth.  Her father, Calmyr, and mother, Filfna, owned several buildings along the main merchant's row, and from leasing out the areas and taking a percentage of the profits, were able to live a lavish style all the while lounging in their home.
In her early life, Pallith was raised as a noble and second to heir after her sister Akorlin. Raised to be book smart and money wise so that the store fronts should never leave the family and they can always live the style they know.  But Pallith was an active child, never wanting to read or learn how businesses work, she would rather go outside and explore the noble part of the city seeing what she could get into.  It was during these little exploring bouts that she found a friend in one Avin Nalaar, a girl of an elf noble family, though of lower status.  With Avin, Pallith learned of the backstreets and hidden corners of the town, and from which they played their games and pranks upon other passing nobles.  Every time they were caught in their mischief, they were sent back to their homes, in which Pallith's mother would scold her and sentence her to her room, but every night after, Pallith always opened the window and climbed down to the streets, in which Avin was waiting for her in.
The Nalaar family was not as fortunate as the Veldakin family in their wealth.  The trading vessels that they owned and used to bring about their money were ransacked by pirates and burned to ashes out on the seas.  With no means to bring about their money they were forced from their current home in the noble district and down to the middle class area where they used what money they had to open up a merchant's stall to make their living from there on in.  To this Pallith and Avin were separated in class, but they remained friends, Pallith traveling down to Avin to explore this new section of the city and getting into more trouble.
As Pallith grew older into her teens, her parent's teachings were lost upon her.  She began to gamble and fluttered away gold coins thinking nothing of it as her parents always had more upon them.  The lavish style had gotten to her and she believed she was above the others in the streets, able to afford what the middle and lower class could only dream of.  It was on one of her gambling ventures that she took it to far, taking coins from her parent's safe and betting them all on a fool's gamble.  The loss of coins did not go over well with her parents and after so long of time from losing money to their gambling daughter they decided to be rid of her.  Her entire family disowned Pallith and casted her upon the streets to fend for herself with naught a copper on her.  Too this she went to the middle districts, to her friend Avin in which she remained in contact with through out the years, and she was welcomed in by the Nalaar family for as long as it took to her to get back on her own feet.
It was now that Avin showed Pallith her current "job".  For under the rouge of a night worker, Avin actually went out about town cutting purses of others, using those backstreets and hidden corners they grew to knew as a kid.  From this Avin taught Pallith, showing her sleight of hand and tricks to lighten the load of purses without anyone noticing.  But Pallith saw more in this, she remembered the noble quarters, and the fact that they didn't carry all their worth on them, but instead kept it in their homes in trinkets and jewelery.  Pallith lead Avin to the noble districts and they began a new trade, one of breaking into homes to take what they wish, not waiting for someone to pass by them.  Pallith knew the families and had been in several of their houses before for parties and meetings between the parents.  With this knowledge she targeted the houses she knew and took small valuables that could be "misplaced" by others and may not be missed as much.  And within each house Pallith left little clues that she hoped would lead anyone investigating back to the Veldakin family, hopefully disgracing their good name.  With the little trinkets and jewelery in tow, they sold them off to the side of the merchant stall, claiming them as their own goods to sell to the people.
Though the thefts did not go unnoticed, as the Undercity of the town kept its eyes on all would be thieves.  Avin was able to skirt by unmolested by them since all she did was cut purses for the coins in them, but the plans of Pallith got their attention quickly.  One day that Pallith was selling her side goods a man walked up inquiring about them.  He was one of the undercity members and he was there for one reason, to stop Pallith from her side deals.  He offered her the use of the fences from the Undercity or the taste of his blade and a dirt nap.  She chose to go with the fences in fear of her life, but she was happy she could turn a quick profit from her heists, even if she felt the amount she was getting was on the small side.  The fences kept offering more, but Pallith had to become one of the drones in the Undercity, she felt it beneath her that a noble that she was once to be working as a mere pawn to someone else's game and refused each and every time.
With her new outlet for goods, Pallith began to steal more and more items.  With this easy cash flow for her, she was able to afford a place to live on her own and moved out of the Nalaar residence.  Avin decided to actually forgo her family home and move in with Pallith as well, and together they began stealing even more from there new base of operations.  From here they grew into young adults living off the gains of stolen goods and living their high life.  That was up until Pallith tried to steal from one Lougith Veer, a male Eladrin that had came to the city not to long ago.  On that heist, everything was going as planned, several trinkets picked up, a full bag of jewelry, everything was going along swimmingly.  But Lougith was not what he appeared to be at first, he knew Pallith was in the house, and was actually watching her steal from him.  The deftness and confidence in Pallith as she went about taking things, the keen eye finding shiny things that were "hidden", he knew that Pallith would be perfect for his plans.  With a flick of a wand a searing pain goes through Pallith's skull and her vision goes black.  Pallith stumbled about in pain and her vision blurs back and before her stands the form of Lougith.
Lougith laughs at Pallith stumbling and offers her a chance to have that power, saying how useful it is to make a person blind when robbing them as such.  Pallith as scared out of her mind ran from the premise, leaving all the loot behind.  But she thought upon the offer, an ability to make someone blind, though she was wary of this man, it seemed to good to be true.  Pallith went back to Lougith, out of curiosity on the offer.  She asked the man what she would have to do to get the power we used upon her, he merely said to say that she will follow him and he will giver her the power.  Pallith figured he could trick the guy, say yes she would follow him, discover the secret to his power, then ditch at the first opportunity.  She accepted Lougith's offer with thoughts of deceit, and after the pact was done and she gained the power Pallith desired, Lougith revealed the stipulations.  She was to be his slave, stealing to gain money for him, and she would have to live on his premise, no longer with Avin in their home.  Lougith also revealed she could not betray him, the pact she agreed to gave him power over her, and she is forced to follow his orders.  Pallith was forced to leave her old life behind, into a life of servitude under her new master Lougith.
For over two decades Pallith lived with Lougith, stealing for him and making him richer and richer, waiting for a day she can finally be rid of him.
